Silly Screw-ups on Trail (or Trial in this case)
Today I’m putting silly screw-ups on trial! This post is a christmas special and boy is it so darned simple. Think about business, think about marketing, think about big money companies and then times those factors by the obsurdest idea to the power of 1000 and you start to realise how easy it is to completely screw up something so small, it becomes a major problem.
Confusing your customers or just being plain sloppy doesnt pay right? Well, you’d be surprised. Some customers have no choice but to chose the company they finally decide to go with, such limitations can be directly related to the customers position too; but in any case I’m not the sort of person to launch a multi million dollar game and screw up the advert for my business or games development company because, well, that’d be plain stupid. You check this stuff, right? right?
I’ve seen monkeys run a more ordered and socially beneficial society. Sometimes I wonder who’s inside the Zoo.

Its all part of a well known problem I suppose. In some companies the really really important things are done by the really wrong people for the job - those who don’t enjoy or care about their work enough to check things more than once.
It’s totally beyond me why wealthy, resourceful and generally successful companies make stupid mistakes again and again. Do they ever learn from previous experience , sometimes going back over 30 or more years?
